DANCE SPECTRUM
Saturday 1:00-4:00pm
Dance Spectrum is a children's dance company for Northwest Austin students age 8-18 with at least 2 years of dance training. Students are accepted into the company through auditions.
During the audition the students will take a variety of classes, as well as perform an optional dance (any style) individually, approximately one minute in length. Applicants should bring their own music on CD or tape. In addition to having two years experience and being at least eight years of age, to be eligible dancers must be enrolled in three dance classes per week, to include ballet, jazz, and lyrical classes.
On the morning of the audition students should come to the studio dressed in a their lavender ballet leotard, pink tights and bring ballet, jazz and tap shoes (if you have them). Hair should be worn in a ballet bun.
